The 3rd Workshop of the ERA Study was held in Brussels on the 15th of April and in the Hotel Bedford Brussels.

The workshop " Setting up a regional ERA Coordination Initiative in the area of Digital Business Ecosystems" targeted to address the ERA Coordination topic in the field of Networked Enterprise at regional level. It focused on defining the research and innovation priorities of common interest in the DBE area, a group of regions mostly dedicated on them and the potential coordination initiatives that could be designed and deployed in the near future. 

The workshop included in its agenda a Round Table of key European Experts in the DBE area. The Round Table, chaired by Mr. Francesco Nachira (EC, DG INFSO-D4), targeted to address the basic questions raised by the regional representatives on the DBE area and particularly those regarding the R&D, technological, socio-economic and regional innovation and policy aspects.

Experts short speeches and the Round Table discussion that followed with regional representatives and the DBE community were video-recorded and are available for download.

Participants: EC DG INFSO - D4 Networked Enterprise & RFID Unit representatives, regional representatives from regional authorities and research agencies, members of the DBE community.
